Sustainability

Occupational Health Services Schréder employees undergo regular medical examinations as required by law. The results are kept confidential and determine whether employees are fit to work or have any restrictions. We have a specific action protocol for adapting jobs to the needs of employees who have been assessed as fit with restrictions. To make this service accessible to all, we bring mobile medical units directly to the workplace. This means that staff can complete their medical examinations without having to travel. We also carry out other health-related initiatives, such as free vaccination campaigns and similar preventive programmes.

Employee Occupational Health and Safety Training By law, all employees must receive sufficient and appropriate training from the company to enable them to carry out their work safely. A training plan is drawn up each year to cover any training deemed necessary by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) department. This is based not only on legislation, but also on an assessment of specific jobs, machines or work processes that require it. The plan is monitored and its effectiveness evaluated in accordance with ISO 45001. When appropriate, subcontractor employees are also included in our training programmes.

Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Department The OHS department is responsible for ensuring the operation of the OHS management system, s well as communicating health and safety issues internally and promoting prevention through training, mailings, posters and digital screens.
