work-related injuries and illnesses. In addition to complying with local legal requirements, each of our factories operates an Occupational Health & Safety Management System, supported by a Group OHS policy and local procedures which translate our global standards into everyday practices. These requirements apply to all Schréder employees, including temporary staff, as well as to contractors and visitors at our sites. Furthermore, as part of our commitment to continuous improvement, it is the Group’s policy that all of its operating centres should be ISO 45001 certified. Health & Safety Metrics
this task within the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management department. In our factories, this person is the Health and Safety Engineer (HSE), and in our sales offices, they are the Health and Safety Contact Point. The main responsibilities of this role are to: • ensure that preventive measures are implemented; • investigate work-related incidents; • propose corrective and preventive actions; • promote H&S topics and awareness through campaigns; • promote and provide training and propose objectives. A series of actions are planned each year (preventive planning) depending on the needs identified by risk assessments, legal requirements or accident rates. These actions include implementing specific procedures, reviewing existing risk assessments, implementing technical protection measures, running information campaigns and training sessions, and measuring environmental and chemical agents. A key step towards establishing a well-structured OHS process was the launch of our OHS incident management platform in 2025. This tool enables us to report all incidents that occur across our sites. It also facilitates thorough root cause investigations and the definition and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
Through our DMA process, we have identified working conditions and employee health and safety as key material ESG topics within our operations. While work provides purpose and economic prosperity, it can also involve operational risks. At Schréder, we therefore consider the health, safety and well-being of our employees, as well as all individuals affected by our activities, to be a fundamental responsibility. Through the DMA process, we identified that inadequate working conditions or occupational safety practices could significantly impact employees negatively , as well as pose potential operational and financial risks to the company. Given the diversity of our activities, which range from industrial manufacturing environments to administrative and commercial workplaces, the nature of occupational risks varies across our operations. For this reason, Schréder takes a systematic, risk-based approach to occupational health and safety management. This ensures that appropriate preventive measures, controls and continuous improvement processes are implemented across all locations. This approach helps us to create safe, fair and responsible working environments. Management System We are committed to providing a safe workplace that prevents accidents and minimises exposure to health risks. Our ambition is to eliminate
Health and Safety (H&S) indicators have been added to the strategic KPIs at all our manufacturing sites.
