4. Sustainability Ambassadors’ Community

Some local events organised by our ambassador teams in 2025

In the early stages of our sustainability journey, we established a global network of Sustainability Ambassadors spanning all our companies. Each year, these ambassadors organise a variety of initiatives that have a positive impact on their local communities. These initiatives are structured around the three pillars of our Together For Our Future programme: protecting the environment ( Planet ), improving the well-being of our employees ( People ) and supporting vulnerable groups ( Community ). These initiatives foster strong employee engagement and encourage everyone to contribute to achieving our global sustainability objectives. We are proud of the commitment demonstrated so far and aim to strengthen and empower this network further. As in previous years, our goal for 2025 was for each company to launch at least one local sustainability initiative under each of the three pillars: Planet, People, and Community. As well as taking action locally, we want our ambassadors to inspire, mobilise and engage the whole of the Schréder Group in creating a more sustainable future together. Towards the end of 2025, we decided to combine forces by inviting our DEI Ambassadors into this network. By aligning both communities and coordinating a joint annual calendar, we aim to raise visibility, increase impact and boost participation across all Schréder teams worldwide.

European Mobility Week

Advancing Circularity

In 2025, our collective efforts avoided 5,530 kg of CO₂e, which is a 10% increase on the previous year. This saving is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 3.6 average-sized households, demonstrating the growing environmental impact of our teams’ changing mobility habits, as well as our ongoing commitment to sustainable mobility. “Mobility Week reminded us that sustainability is built on everyday choices and personal commitment. I was truly inspired by our country manager, Tomáš Bartoš, who cycled to work every day of the week, despite the challenging weather conditions. His commitment demonstrated that leading by example is the foundation of sustainability leadership.” Martine Skodova Sustainability Ambassador - Czech Republic

At our Brussels headquarters, we have implemented a proactive resource-redirection initiative to ensure that surplus office materials are integrated back into the local economy. The team identifies items suited for a ‘second life’, including vintage office equipment and stationery, and facilitates their transfer to schools, non-profit associations, and local artisans. This commitment to circularity has fostered unique community partnerships. For example, specialised materials have been repurposed by local artists and the sustainable design collective Artisans Sans Carbone. “One of the objectives of the Ambassadors’ Network is to translate key strategic concepts into practical actions to which all employees can contribute, thereby helping them to become more familiar with these concepts and supporting communities in the process.” Nathalie Saintmard Sustainability Ambassador - Belgium
