Human Rights Schréder is committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights throughout its operations and supply chain. First introduced in 2023 and updated in 2025, the Group’s Human Rights Policy defines expectations for responsible business conduct and reinforces the integration of human rights considerations into corporate policies and operational practices. In 2025, human rights oversight was further embedded in the Group’s governance and compliance framework. Supporting instruments include Human Rights Risk Assessment and Corrective Action procedures, as well as Child and Forced Labour policies, which are implemented in locations where the Group carries out manufacturing activities. Human rights considerations are also integrated into supplier due diligence and factory audit processes to strengthen visibility of potential risks across the value chain. Initial assessments have been conducted in selected operations and will be consolidated progressively into a group-wide human rights risk heat map to help identify and prioritise salient risks. This approach supports the integration of human rights considerations into procurement and operational risk management processes, thereby strengthening oversight across the value chain and reinforcing responsible business practices throughout the Group’s activities.

Since adopting the RBA Code, we have actively communicated these standards to our suppliers and requested confirmation of their compliance with the RBA Code or equivalent principles. To further embed these commitments, we introduced the Schréder Supplier Code of Conduct at the end of 2022. Based on the RBA Code, this document outlines our social, environmental, and ethical expectations, with additional requirements specific to our operations and supply chain context. Metrics By the end of 2025, 98% of the assessed suppliers - representing 88% of our product-related expenditure - had confirmed their compliance with the RBA Code of Conduct, Schréder’s Code of Conduct or similar sustainability standards. We are continuing to work towards achieving 100% compliance by 2026. In parallel, we launched a sustainable sourcing policy and implemented a sustainability risk assessment process focused on our strategic product-related suppliers. This risk-based methodology enables us to identify strengths and areas for improvement across our supplier base. Suppliers identified as high risk are subject to environmental, social and governance (ESG) audits conducted by leading independent service providers to verify their compliance with our standards. As of 2025, 88% of our product-related spend was covered by this risk assessment process and 90% of our sourcing team was trained to support its implementation.

The ESG audit with Schréder was a constructive and transparent process that strengthened our shared commitment to responsible and sustainable operations. ams OSRAM is proud to support Schréder in advancing sustainable lighting by providing high-efficacy LEDs and durable product designs that help to reduce the CO 2 footprint of Schréder products. This collaboration closely aligns with our own sustainability roadmap, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
