Each country, if not each region has its own environmental regulations. They can be more or less strict and focus on some specific criteria.
On 1 st January 2020, the French government introduced a new national law that is now seen as one of the most restrictive in Europe. The PureNight concept guarantees that your Schréder lighting solution satisfies environmental laws and requirements. We believe that well-designed LED lighting has the potential to improve the environment in every way. That’s why Schréder has joined the certification programme of the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) . The IDA is the recognised authority on light pollution. It provides leadership, tools and resources to industries and businesses that want to reduce light pollution. By receiving the IDA’s Fixture Seal of Approval, all FLEXIA luminaires meet the following criteria:
> Restricted emissions of blue light with CCT ≤ 3000K
> Limited ULOR of max 0.5%
> Low glare for the best night-time experience
> A safety certification from an independent lab
CONNECTIVITY Smart NEMA or Zhaga, keep complete control! Schréder does not want to lock you down with a proprietary control system. This is why FLEXIA not only offers one but two open and interoperable options based on industry standards. This freedom enables you to connect your lighting scheme and to be Smart City ready. Zhaga-D4i: better together! The Zhaga consortium joined forces with the DiiA and produced a single “Zhaga-Dali 4 intra-luminaire Dali” certification, so called Zhaga-D4i. As a founding member of the Zhaga consortium, Schréder has participated in the creation of, and therefore supports, the Zhaga-D4i certification program and the initiative of this group to standardise an interoperable ecosystem. FLEXIA is of course ZD4i certified.
