Each country, if not each region has its own environmental regulations. They can be more or less strict and focus on certain specific criteria. On 1 st January 2020, the French government introduced a new national law that is now seen as one of the most environmentally advanced in Europe. It is largely inspired by the EU green public procurement policy for road lighting, issued in 2019. This role model regulation: Limits ULOR to max. 1%; Reduces glare: at least 95% of the light emission is confined to angles below 14.5 degrees from the horizontal; Restricts the emission of blue light with CCT <3000K; Restrains the amount of light to less than 35lm/sqm; Prohibits intrusive lighting towards dwellings and any kind of lighting of waterways and sea. The PureNight certification software developped by Schréder guarantees that your lighting solution satisfies environmental laws and requirements . Schréder has its own certified laboratory and is also endorsed by numerous independent certification bodies. Comply with the strictest environmental regulations

Control solutions: set the right lighting levels any time
CUSTOM FACTORY DRIVER SETTINGS Intelligent luminaire drivers can be programmed in the factory with complex dimming profiles . This feature does not require any extra wiring. The period between switching on and switching off is used to activate the preset dimming profile. The customised dimming system generates maximum energy savings while respecting the required lighting levels and uniformity throughout the night. Drivers can be re-programmed to change the dimming profile over time, if needed.

SENSORS FOR AUTONOMOUS DYNAMIC SCENARIOS Photoelectric sensors switch on the luminaires exactly when natural light becomes insufficient (cloudy day, night fall, etc.) so as to provide safety and comfort in the public space. In places with little nocturnal activity, lighting can be dimmed to a minimum most of the time. By using motion sensors such as PIR sensors , levels can be raised as soon as a pedestrian or a vehicle is detected in the area. Speed (and direction) sensors such as radars work with a wider detection area to classify the identified moving item following its speed and its direction. This classification provides the right response according to predefined lighting scenarios.
12
BLUETOOTH TM ECONOMICAL ON-SITE SOLUTION The Schréder built-in Bluetooth TM solution is ideal for the on-site configuration of individual outdoor luminaires using Bluetooth. By simply standing beside the pole, the user is able to read diagnostic data, switch the luminaire on or off and adapt the dimming curve . A user-friendly application called Sirius BLE provides easy and secure access to the control and configuration functions.
SCHRÉDER EXEDRA COMPLETE REMOTE CONTROL

Together for a circular economy
With transparent criteria to assess our products, the Circle Light Label helps cities and industries adopt a circular economy and drive a positive future for all.
extracting raw materials
A circular economy is mainly defined in opposition to the traditional linear economy: take, make and dispose. In a circular economy, products are part of a value stream where they will be used for as long as possible. Then, depending on their characteristics, they can be reused, refurbished, upgraded or recycled. This leads to increased efficiency, reduced operating costs, greater resilience and a smaller ecological footprint. Benefits of a circular economy

It's in the DNA
Schréder has always designed products and services with sustainability in mind - it's simply what we do. Indeed, many of the lighting solutions we installed back in the 1970s are still working. We take the circular economy into account, right from the offset. From the concept phase, design guidelines not only take into account the production and
environmental impact of our luminaires. They facilitate removing components and
increasing the standardisation of parts and the materials separability once its working life is over.
A more sustainable, brighter future is a priority for everyone. At Schréder, we have always developed responsible lighting solutions to preserve and enhance landscapes. The Circle Light Label provides design guidelines to challenge our R&D team further for the community's benefit.
Circle Light
In this constant quest to innovate and be completely transparent with our customers, we launched the Circle Light Label. It designates products that are optimised for a circular economy without compromising on the quality. We assess our luminaires to evaluate their potential circularity through 12 objective criteria in 5 categories:
IZYLUM
FLEXIA
The luminaires are rated with a comparative scale from 1 star (least circular) to 4 stars (most circular). To support our customers in making an informed choice and developing a truly circular economy, only luminaires with 4 stars are promoted by us with a Circle Light Label.

Luminaire data at your fingertips
The Schréder Smart Label enables installers and infrastructure managers to retrieve all key luminaire information on any digital device, whether it is mobile or desktop. It offers direct access to a portal where they can exchange info usefull for asset management.
On request, the “smart labels” can be found on the luminaire packaging or inside the luminaire itself. One of them is designed to be stuck inside the pole, on the pole door. Scanning the QR code offers instant access to an online portal where all the critical information about the luminaire is stored.
Prepare field operations
On product ordering, the infrastructure manager facilitates and secures the installation operations by adding key project information to the label. Project name, lighting class, application, location, specific references... Any type of information that might be useful can be added.
26
Scan on-site and update
The installer scans the QR code on the luminaire or enters its serial number. She/he can check the luminaire information , access installation instructions and attribute the luminaire to a specific project . When connected to the portal, the installer can also add information for asset management : project name, full address automatically extracted from the GPS position, pole number, type and height, and any other relevant information for the project management over time.
The infrastructure manager can retrieve all data recorded on-site by the installer and add them to a lighting management platform such as Schréder EXEDRA. This operation can be performed at any time - after installation, after maintenance, after repairs - to keep information updated. Manage assets over time
Maximise efficiency
The Smart Label portal enables both the installer and the city manager to exchange critical information throughout the life cycle of the luminaire (installation, maintenance, repair). This platform makes operations more efficient by preventing unnecessary on-site visits. Cities make significant savings and maintain lighting performance over time. When servicing the lighting scheme, the maintenance crew records the date/operations completed. In case of luminaire failure, they can use the troubleshooting assistance and follow the instructions to find out the root cause, fix the issue and, if needed, request spare parts to repair the luminaire.
The Schréder Smart Label relies on a progressive web app compatible with all devices (PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet) to offer instant access to information and instructions about the luminaire.

SHUFFLE SECURITY
How can city services or security companies leverage outdoor lighting to improve the feeling of safety for people? How can it connect them instantly to security staff or city services? How can it prevent hazardous situations turning into disasters? Feeling secure is a basic human right. Your residents and visitors want to feel safe at all times. SHUFFLE Security delivers a strategic breakthrough to address these challenges with advanced lighting and security features . It is designed to create safe and pleasant outdoor areas : tourist sites, parks and squares, outdoor spaces around public and private buildings (embassies, ministry buildings, banks, hospitals, schools, etc.), metro, bus or train stations, car parks and sports or leisure venues. SHUFFLE Security provides a monitoring system that enables bidirectional communication: from authorities to citizens or security companies to people in the environment, and vice versa, from end-users to public/property managers. SHUFFLE Security improves confidence in using outdoor environments. It encourages people to socialise, to contribute to the local economy and to develop a true sense of community.
