Adapting to every situation

Cities change throughout the day, the week and the seasons. Lighting can support these natural variations by responding to real conditions in a measured way. FlexiWhite technology, developed by Schréder, makes this possible by allowing colour temperature and lighting levels to be adjusted with precision. This helps maintain visibility and comfort where people are present, while limiting unnecessary brightness and disturbance in quieter moments.

Designed for a changing world • CCT range: 1700K to 4000K • Sensor integration: PIR, radar, ambient light compatible • Smooth transitions: automatic or event-driven • Consistent optics: uniform light distribution across all CCTs • Compliance: EN 13201 and EU GPP <3000K

EU GPP: lighting in harmony with nature

The EU Green Public Procurement (EU GPP) guidelines encourage outdoor lighting of 3000K or lower in order to limit blue light emissions and protect biodiversity. FlexiWhite allows the colour temperature to be adjusted to meet EU GPP recommendations while maintaining appropriate visibility. This supports lighting strategies that balance human activity with care for biodiversity.

Each luminaire is equipped with DT8 control . This allows colour temperature and light output to be managed through a single address, providing stable operation and simplifying commissioning.

4

Lighting behaviour can be defined in two ways: • Through fixed pre-programmed scenarios , set either at the factory or configured on site, to deliver the right lighting from day one. • Through flexible scenarios managed via Schréder EXEDRA , our remote management platform for connected lighting, users can change or fine-tune settings at any time to adjust the lighting strategy as needs evolve. Optional sensors complement this intelligence by adapting lighting to real use. They detect presence and activity, ensuring higher levels and cooler tones only when needed, while maintaining warmer light as the default to preserve comfort and the environment. This is lighting that responds with precision, delivering safety, well-being and efficiency with complete control.

DALI Type 8

Smart protocol for tunable white lighting • Single address: unlike DT6, DT8 controls both light level and colour temperature through one address. • Smooth transitions: precise blending between warm and cool LEDs. • Simplified setup: fewer addresses mean faster commissioning. • Interoperable: fully compliant with DALI-2 (IEC 62386-209).

5

Sensing the rhythm of the city

6

Integrated motion and ambient sensors adjust lighting in response to actual use. They detect presence, direction and speed, ensuring light reacts naturally to its surroundings: • PIR sensors detect pedestrians or cyclists, brightening only when needed • Radar sensors identify approaching vehicles to enhance safety • Ambient light sensors maintain ideal brightness as sky conditions change Together with Schréder EXEDRA, they create a living network of luminaires that dim when spaces are empty, brighten when activity returns, and always preserve energy, safety and comfort.

FlexiWhite relies on our proven LensoFlex ® 4 optical platform, ensuring precision and consistency in every configuration. Each luminaire integrates two LED circuits with different colour temperatures, combined under the same lens design. This means the photometry remains identical whether one channel operates alone or both work together, guaranteeing consistent light distribution in every mode. Unlike systems using separate PCBAs for each colour tone, FlexiWhite blends warmer and cooler LEDs on the same board . The result is a single, seamless light source with no visible split or dark zones, preserving both the uniformity of the light and the overall aesthetic of the luminaire at night. FlexiWhite delivers its full tunable capability without any compromise to uniform light distribution or visual harmony. Built on LensoFlex®4 excellence
