A global brand with 120 years of history Sylvania Lighting Australasia Pty Ltd was the home of Roadway lighting in Australia for nearly 50 years Sylvania Lighting was acquired by the Gerard family in 2009 and then integrated with Gerard Lighting in 2014 In April 2020, Schréder Group acquired Sylvania, allowing us to leverage Schréder’s global experience and technology
At Sylvania Schréder, we work closely with government councils, energy authorities and major infrastructure to bring Australia closer to a sustainable future. Sylvania Schréder is dedicated to our people, project partners and the communities in which we work. We are an active member of the Lighting Council of Australia and Standards Committees nationally we play an active part in creating guidelines for sustainable development of Australian lighting infrastructure.
