Tolerance on LED flu x is ± 7% and on total luminaire power ± 5 % (*) The nominal flux is an indicative LED flux @ Ts 85°C based on LED manufacturer’s data. The real flux output of the luminaire depends on environmental conditions (e.g. temperature and pollution) and the optical efficiency of luminaire. The type of LED used is subject to change due to the ongoing rapid progress taking place in LED technology.

Construction Details The luminaire consists of an aluminium extrusion body and die-cast aluminium end-caps creating the best thermal environment for LEDs. Cable entry is available in different positions. The luminaire bears the SANS 60598-2-5 safety mark. It has an ingress protection rating of IP 66. The luminaire housing is robustly constructed, weather proof, hail proof, corrosion proof and vandal resistant. It is manufactured from corrosion-resistant aluminium. A silicon seal, between the flush-mounted PMMA front cover and housing, ensures the sealing of the luminaire. The gasket sealing is made to match the extended useful lifetime of the LEDs (100 000 hours, L70). The LEDs are effective high-power LEDs, 5000K at a colour rendering index ≥70. The incorporated lens system is available in narrow beam, medium beam, wide beam, extra wide beam and elliptical beam. The LED drivers are incorporated in the luminaire housing and powered with 24V DC. An external power supply for operation on a 230V ±10% 50Hz single-phase system located in an external control gear enclosure can be ordered separately. Optional DMX or DALI control can be incorporated into this external control gear enclosure.
