The group of companies operating within Australia includes Sylvania Schréder, Austube Schréder, and SCS. We believe that lighting can empower people, impact lives, support communities, and transform spaces, cities, and the planet. Our purpose is to deliver an outstanding experience by accompanying our customers along every step of their journey, from design to after-sales service, including light, control systems, CCTV, WiFi, EV chargers and many more futuristic smart city solutions in development. Environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable lighting has always been part of Schréder’s DNA. We have already helped many cities, industries and sports venues worldwide to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint by switching to LED technology. Sylvania’s History A global brand with 120 years of history. Sylvania Lighting Australasia Pty Ltd was the home of Roadway lighting in Australia for nearly 50 years. Sylvania Lighting was acquired by the Gerard family in 2009 and then integrated with Gerard Lighting in 2014. SCHRÉDER recognizes that in addition to minimising the incidence of work-related injury and illness, a safe and healthy work environment enhances the quality of products and services, consistency of production and worker retention and morale. SCHRÉDER also recognizes that ongoing worker input and education are essential to identifying and solving health and safety issues in the workplace.

Employee WHS Obligations

All Employees are obligated to look after the health and safety of themselves and everyone onsite by:

• Complying with health and safety instructions given • Using any personal protective equipment that has been provided to them • Not interfering or misusing any equipment provided for their workplace’s health and safety • Not willfully placing themselves or anyone else at risk • Reporting Hazards, Near-Misses and Incidents • Any employee who breaches this policy may be subject to disciplinary action
