All reports are handled confidentially, unless disclosure is required by law. This framework underpins our commitment to a transparent and accountable workplace culture.
Governance and Policy Integration Schréder has established clear procedures for the confidential investigation and timely handling of whistleblower reports. Details of the WIN Line are embedded in key governance documents, including the Code of Conduct, the Supplier Code of Conduct, the Anti-Fraud & Anti-Corruption Policy, the Human Rights Policy and the Sustainable Procurement Policy, as well as on Schréder’s public web site. Global Awareness Campaign In the first half of 2024, Schréder launched a global communication campaign to promote the WIN line. A new multi-lingual poster was deployed in all entities, including local contact information to increase the visibility and accessibility of the reporting channels. Protection Against Retaliation Our Whistleblower Policy provides strong safeguards to protect individuals who report concerns in good faith, reinforcing a culture of trust, responsibility and ethical behaviour throughout the organisation.
Schréder Ethics Advisory Panel As a leading independent outdoor lighting manufacturer with a commercial presence in more than 70 countries on six continents, Schréder operates within a diverse array of cultures, opinions, business approaches, and geographical specificities. This diversity enriches our global perspective but can also present ethical dilemmas that challenge our company’s values and ethics. To address these challenges, Schréder established the Schréder Ethics Advisory Panel (SEAP) in 2023. The SEAP’s mission is to provide the Board of Directors and senior executives with independent assessments of ethical issues that may arise, ensuring that thorough due diligence is conducted to protect the company’s reputation and core values. The panel comprises both internal members from the Schréder organisation and an external advisor, offering a balanced and comprehensive perspective on ethical issues.
