EPDs Verification and Registration Although the use of the right tools and experienced engineers are fundamental elements of an advanced process, another important leg is accuracy and reliability. To cover this part, we decided to have our models verified by a third party and to select a Programme Operator to register our EPD documents with. We chose PEP Ecopassort 5 , a French organisation that has been a Programme Operator since 2006. They have proven their services specifically for the electrical and electronics industry with a unique PSR 6 for luminaires. This specialised process will help us to better define the LCA calculation methods and ultimately improve the accuracy of the results. Generic Product Family EPDs Our new LCA and EPD process was released in October 2024. Since then, we have been providing our customers with EPD documents based on the new set-up. In order to better serve our market and ensure immediate access to data for our customers, we have also decided to create generic EPD documents, which we have registered and published on the PEP Ecopassport website. The generic, homogeneous product family EPDs show the environmental impact of standard variants of our product portfolio.
