INSTALLING A CEILING LIGHT
EXAMPLE: to fit a 100 m long x 4 m wide street with an led ceiling light

10 m of garland = 9.60 m of ceiling
10 m of garland = 9.60 m of ceiling
N.B.: For 10 m of garland, you can only cover 9.6 m of ceiling. You therefore need to have attachment points every 9.6 m or less.
You need 4 connectors width-wise.
CALCULATE THE TOTAL NUMBER OF 20 M GARLANDS Given that you need 4 connector cables width-wise and that each connector has 4 connection points, there will be 16 garland outlets (4x4 = 16). We also have 10 spaces of 9.6 m (knowing that you need 10 m of garland to cover 9.6 m of ceiling) + 1 space of 4 m (that we could cover with 5 m of garland). For each of the 16 lengths, you will need 5 x 20 m garlands + 1 x 5 m garland: 16 outlets of 5 x 20 m garlands = 16 x 5 = 80 x 20 m garlands. 16 additions of 5 m = 16 x 5 = 4 x 20 m garlands (dividable every 5 m). 20
CALCULATE THE NUMBER OF SUPPLIES (REF.550663 + 300002)
Given that a fixed LED garland uses 17W/230V, the total use for the ceiling will be: 84 x 17 = 1428W. We are limited in terms of power here by the power cable, which can handle a maximum power of 920W/230V (because of the 4A rectifier). So: 1428 = 1.55 920
2 power cables are therefore required.
To do this street’s ‘ceiling’, you will therefore need 84 x 20 m garlands.
