Sustainability Sustainability has been a topic close to the hearts of the Schréder family shareholders for generations and is strongly anchored in our company’s mission statement.
• In 2019, we formalised this commitment by conducting our first materiality assessment. Based on the materiality assessment, we developed a cohesive, company-wide sustainability strategy. We called it the “Together for our Future” project and launched it in early 2020. The project is structured around three axes encompassing the relevant and prioritised SDGs and targets:
• Together for Our Planet • Together for Our People • Together for Our Community
EcoVadis
To monitor our sustainability performance and verify its alignment of our strategy and actions with external standards, we have carried out annual assessments of our performance through the EcoVadis platform since 2019. Schréder has been awarded a Gold in sustainability rating for the second time, with a score of 71 out of 100 points in 2023. This rating places Schréder in the top 5% of global suppliers across all industries and recognises our continuous progress in all areas with a special focus on our SBTi commitment to reduce our CO2 emissions.

Connected solutions
Connecting your luminaires goes beyond simply adding a control system; it’s about mastering the environment. On a campus, this means controlling not just the lights but the spaces they illuminate and the experiences they create for visitors and users. From enhancing security and reducing crime to creating inviting spaces for social interaction, the right lighting choices can transform your campus. Whether you need the flexibility to dim lights during late hours, brighten them in emergencies, or integrate solutions for electric mobility and entertainment, it’s all about delivering more than just light—it’s about creating a smarter, more sustainable campus environment.
Connecting your luminaires is much more than adding a control system to the products. It is about customising an area to unleash its full potential.
Consider the place, the people, the lighting, the control and Let’s get connected!
